Tam Coc – Halong on Land (L)
Our driver and guide will pick you up at hotel in Hanoi at 07:30 am and then transfer to Ninh Binh (100km). On the way, stop in Hoa Lu – the ancient capital of Vietnam dated to 10th century, to visit the ancient Dinh & Le kings temples. These temples are surrounded by beautiful hibiscus gardens, ponds with lotus blossoms and frangipani spreading a delicate perfume. Drive to Tam Coc means “three caves” adorned with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites of different shapes like gemstones, get in a small rowing boat to discover an outstanding karst waterscape on Ngo Dong River. From boat, you may enjoy extended views of rice fields dotted with limestone peaks along the river banks.

After lunch at the local restaurant, start cycling in the winding roads passing lotus pond, temple and cottages, typical scenery of Vietnamese countryside to visit Bich Dong pagoda situated on a hillside. Drive back to Hanoi in the late afternoon. End of services
